Lymphoedema management is sometimes complex and requires various methods of treatment: Compression Therapy: advice measuring;Exercise: movement combined with specific breathing practices along with self massage instruction;Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD): to aid the movement of lymph fluid; and Skin Care.: I can also use of Low Level Laser (LLL), Intermittent Sequential Compression Pumps (ISCP), Multi-layer lymphoedema bandaging, compression garment measuring and prescription.

Education for proper management can significantly improve symptoms and prevent complications.

Pneumatic Compression Pumps

Sequential intermittent Compression (SIPC) therapy works by actively removing fluid from the oedematous limb through the application of sequential compression. This type of therapy is clinically beneficial for Chronic Venous insufficiency; Venous ulcers; peripheral Arterial Disease; Lymphoedema & Lipoedema. There are numerous garments with pumps designed and prescribed to your individual needs.
